Staff in clinical academic roles reported more examples of opportunities for leading improvements in practice, and the building of connections and social support, while non-clinical academic roles more frequently reported that involvement in research provided opportunities for learning. 3/4

Analysing existing service monitoring data demonstrated statistically significant changes across 8 confidence indicators, with greatest improvements in users' ability to ask for help. Data outlined a vulnerable population with 2/3 economically inactive and 86% suffering with >1 health issues. 4/5

Our findings demonstrate value for money with a £3 return for every £1 invested. Social Navigators (SN) improved confidence of service users, helping them to access other advice & support services. This resulted in one-off financial (average £1,237) and annual financial gains (average £1,703). 2/5
