The new switch cartridges are faster, which means they're probably charging more for them. And they probably dont expect it to sell much, considering the original is also playable on it. Im not a fan at all, but it makes a bit of sense probably

My guess is that the prices for the new carts are way more expensive, and sega doesnt expect these games to sell, especially the switch 1 ports, so they're just opting to use the assumingly way cheaper game key carts.

As to why these arent switch 2 editions, I have no clue.
