I think it’s far more fun for a dm & gm, or worldbuilder, to create their own rubric of morality per the setting’s standards if one’s needed.

I have a lot of thoughts on fantasy as a genre, where it got its foothold, who it took inspiration from in the same breath it disparaged, etc. but fantasy, like it’s sibling scifi (shaped by literal nazis like von braun) is ripe for reclamation, recontextualization, and forceful representation.

the problem is they’re learning it from 25-30 year olds who act just the same. I keep encountering 35 year olds with tiktok addictions who behave the same way. there’s something about the constant exposure + entitlement of that platform specifically that warps people. its upsetting to watch.

everytime I catch wind of what artist discourse is still happening on twitter it gets more and more tiktok-adjacent in nature in this exact way.

the constant ddos attacks have severely impacted the ability to reliably play or write together, & many disillusioned with the game stay subscribed for things that realistically should not require internet connection (gposing, for instance) ; which is also ruined by ddos attacks. it's embarrassing.

if I remember correctly, it's not corvos. it's a self-contained storybook, arabian nights style, and is a new variant dungeon. nothing to do with msq.
