The other side if the affordability equation is that corporations hold the purse strings to housing costs, healthcare, food, cable, internet, etc. If you double the minimum wage, it still won’t be enough. Prices will rise as wages rise. It’s a no win situation.

I stand for the woman who just does not want to have a baby for whatever reason, which is none of my damn business. Women should not have to justify why they want control over their bodies and their lives. They shouldn’t have to have a “good” reason or explain it to anyone.

My indie bookstore got hit with a $6145.42 tariff/tax this week for an order of calendars which are printed in China, bought through a UK company. It is due in 7 days. It is almost 40% of the invoice. Order placed at the beginning of the year.
Thanks Pres F***er

My small business just got hit with a $6000 tariff bill for calendars printed in China. (50%, as promised) We ordered them in January.
Americans are being shafted bigly.

I have 3 bookstores in Oakland and Berkeley. Our first order of calendars, printed in China, arrived with a 50% customs charge of over $6000, due in 7 days.
Pres F***er is shafting us bigly.
Tariffs are paid by Americans.
