the amount of science is genuinely very cool!!!!! ive learned a TON at the conferences which is awesome!! but the social part of it all is hard as fuck and im so trash at networking 😭also my lab atm is just me + my boss so i couldnt even hang out with lab mates!!!

like every conference was about a week long and every day for that week was like 8am-8pm science talks, research/poster presentations, etc also super far from home like a plane ride away. im so glad its over lol

OUH NO WORRIES ITS NOT DUMB!!! its not really a formal thing i was just calling it that but im in a research lab and we were going to a lot of scientific conferences (like 3 in 2 months) it involved a lot of travel and a lot of nonstop science it was exhausting
