I've seen a lot of comments about this being all about power, resources, and imperialism. While I wholeheartedly believe that's true for the scum behind Trump, I don't think that's what's going through his dementia riddled brain as an individual.

I really think that it's specifically the people who really struggled with being isolated in the pandemic. It's like their brains just rebel against any kind of written instructions and demand someone explain it to them verbally before they'll do it.
