I just watched a video about the remake and just to let you know there is also a bit of a fiddly timed section near the finale too (escaping some bad guys)

Gabriel Knight did have atleast one brief timed puzzle where you need to do something while someone's back is turned - I remember it was set to cpu speed & in the original game was impossible to do on modern PCs without an app to slow CPU for it. I don't know if that puzzle is still in the remake

Something great about Gabriel Knight 2 is that they commissioned an actual performance of a scene from an apocryphal Wagner opera as a part of the game. Hundreds of millions more dollars spent, yet no other mainstream games doing this??? it's not adding up.
