Twenty plus years ago, a friend of mine who is a German-Austrian dual citizen went to university in Austria because he said that Austria didn’t charge fees and Germany did.

I thought university in Europe was only free for their own citizens? So presumably an American going to university in Europe would have to pay some tuition?

As a government employee, I can tell you that everyone is infuriated by lack of notice. Previous moves had 4 months notice. 9 weeks is insufficient. Many colleagues are caregivers and I feel this will lead to a rash of retirements/resignations. Millions spent retrofitting offices will be wasted.

It’s certainly unfair and I didn’t vote for him either, but I don’t think that the idiots will learn until they suffer personal consequences and some won’t even learn then.

80 years of abundance never before seen on earth has led to complete and utter ignorance of consequences for a large portion of the population. It’s FAFO time.

What I remember hearing is that Ray’s friend stabbed a guy to death in front of him and then he was charged to get him to agree to testify. Is that right?
