They put so many chemicals into the air in Gotham no wonder the sky is Eternal Blood Red at night

Not only does Batman fairly early on have a gas mask on standby, but it's established enough that a villain comments on it in advance and devises a trap that uses a vacuum chamber instead to have a similar effect the gas mask won't work on.

Like it's Batman so of course there's fear gas, joker laughing gas, Plant Gas, but then there's like. knockout gas, tear gas, ominous glowing red virus gas, whatever gas comes out of Penguin's umbrella, amnesia gas that feels like a 4kids dub because it ominously looks like it just kills people.
