It makes people on insulin pumps rethink the technology and it's reliability. What are the pump companies doing to address the issue? Do insulin pump companies consider having a manual mode (I know one does not and I am on it) to address the DexCom and Abbott issues Beta Bionics Tandem?

My insulin pump relies on either one of these cgms. I take a finger poke when in doubt. Sad to see that this is occurring and lives are being lost. There is already a class action lawsuit against DexCom. Now, another one against Abbott?

False lows-- stops insulin from being delivered. False highs can lead to too much insulin being delivered. If a person is already low-- and the cgm reads high-- this can lead to death.

I know many people who voted for Trump this term but also voted for Biden in 2020. I listen to them. I have used the Constitution as my fact checker each time. Many of these people don't know the Constitution. So, I give them a small book on it and say read it. It opens up conversation.
