Got an estimate from a contractor to fix flood damage. He said he can start tomorrow. Great for us, but not for him. It's because few people can afford to do the fixes since tariffs have raised the prices of supplies, so business is pretty slow.

At least half of each presser includes a sidetrack of the 2013 shutdown under Obama, but never the longest one under Trump. Why is one relevant, but not the other, when it was during the current pres' first term? The next one better mention shutdowns under Reagan... for no reason, of course.
