yes he is a war criminal btw he has an ICC warrant against him for the human rights violations violated during the 1999 east timor crisis (where pro-indonesian militia allegedly backed by the military under him were attempting to sabotage the Timorese Independence Referendum through violence)

Chat, the Filipinos aided us by buying free stuff to our gojek drivers. When it comes time for them to revolt against their own political elite, we have to support them like they do to us! 🇮🇩🫶🇵🇭

there's about four possibilities from here on out:

1. Protests continue sporadically, but the storm dies down. This is the maybe likely option, and also an unfavorable one, since just like RUU TNI, this would mean the government got away with their actions.

2. Because of the government not

I've also been seeing alot of Indonesians getting fatigued from seeing demonstrations, news, violence, and chaos all the time, and yeah, i get it. And people just want peace and things to go back to normal. Me too, but there's no "normal" under authoritarianism.

4. A miracle occurs and somehow, the government works on all of the demands properly and no (large) protests occurs. Obviously this is more favorable than option 2, but this is incredibly unlikely.

3. Massive protests erupt again, and so does violence (obviously, from the cops or military or both), leading to dozens of injuries and, God forbid, deaths. Whatever goes from here, only God knows. Its either going to be the government caving in, or martial law. Let's hope this doesn't happen.

fulfilling any of the demands, massive protests erupt again with hopefully no violence (especially from the cops and military), and the government is forced to cave in and fulfill the majority of the demands. This is the favorable option.
