Your ignorance is inflammatory & baseless. It’s easy to look back historically and see just how much fight had to be put in by the powerless to get “the DEI stuff” put into place. 1 black man was President & it enraged so many previously (and still) privileged people that we’ve got a felon for pres.

It’s not rhetorical. It was done by white men because BIPOC and women couldnt be in power, but they could be influential allies (think Dr Mary McLeod Bethune and Eleanor Roosevelt).

Bipartisanship?!?! If there was anything sensible coming from Rs, maybe. But there’s not! If you’re going to be weak, get out of the way for someone with enough backbone to not cajole to fascism and oligarchs.

Of all the things to be upset about regarding the Hegseth nomination, this ain’t it. Rucking in silkies/skivvies with a flag is very on par for vets. There are entire organizations that do so. Also, shaming someone for what they wear is giving tan suit vibes.

It’s still not the original bipartisan bill though, right? The pediatric cancer research and other previously agreed upon and beneficial to society items were left on the floor. This doesn’t feel like a win. It feels like catering to temper tantrums.
