I think Momoka is a dragon girl. Her tail has a scaled pattern, and it's thick at the base and quickly tapers. No other tail does that besides Renge's (who is definitely a dragon) and her fellow GSC member Sumomo (who is also ambiguous).
What I wouldn't give for some background for these girls.

Hoping events make up the difference because I kind of agree. I don't have any characters max yet. Commissions help, but at 20h each they are only supplementary.
BA is pretty bad about this too, you have to stockpile mats and intentionally neglect characters or you'll stretch yourself too thin.

I think the gacha cost thing is a little overblown. Once you do the math it's somewhere between Genshit and Blue Archive. Doesn't help the perception when the system is so confusing.
