Trying a different style (for me) of nail paint. Hesitant first coat. Will keep it around for a day or two and then build if I feel like it.

These EarFun Air Pros are ridiculously good for a third of the price of AirPod Pros or equivalent Bose. The ANC is top notch and the sound quality once the 10-band EQ adjustment has been made is absolutely great.

The whole album is an absolute banger, but this is perhaps my favourite song on it. The soundscape is so different yet familiar.

Last weekend, a few of us braved pouring rain and attended some gigs as part of the BLR Hubba, a music & arts festival in Bangalore.

First, TM Krishna & the Jogappas, the later a fabulous group of trans folk musicians.

Second, Jatayu, who play some brilliant Carnatic infused blues rock.

TM Krishna is a Carnatic singer, while the Jogappas are a group of trans folk musicians hailing from the border areas of Karnataka and Maharashtra in India. The band Jatayu kicking off their set. The stage is lit in purple and blue hues. The extreme left of the frame is the bassist, the lead guitarist next, the rhythm guitarist and then finally the drummer. The stage backdrop is the band's logo mark, Jatayu. A wide view of the stage from the back of the venue while Jatayu is playing. Most of the audience has umbrellas out as it braves rain to watch the band plays. The stage lights streaking between rain and umbrellas add to a dramatic effect.

There’s something both wistful and liberating about unearthing scraps of poetry left behind by old lovers.

Strange, ethereal light mornings
