By my standards I have read a veritable shit ton of books this year. Toll’s Pacific Trilogy is some of the best WWII stuff I’ve read. Labatut is wonderfully weird and thought provoking. Snyder is essential for our times, as is Maya Angelou (obvs)

Another ‘Year in Review’ post
