Would moving the Super Bowl to a February Thursday help?

Made even more evident while watching Dick Cheney’s funeral today. To see former leaders with varying political views and histories sitting together in unity made me sad. I’m grieving the colossal loss of respectful, decent, and brave leadership.

Agree! This season was exceptionally good. Every episode was packed with surprises. And yep Cory is a dog but redeemed himself a bit…

Agreed, and this is also happening with music, and even news media. So many bubbles and rabbit holes with streaming that shared cultural experiences are non existent.

Never gets old seeing bald eagles in the wild! Indiana has several nested pairs.

Was thinking the same, much bigger than a mayoral speech

This Indiana Pacer fan was pulling for the Blue Jays, and can completely understand how their fans feel. It’s crushing to be so close to the championship. But sports definitely teach lessons of hope and resilience.

Or nuke us into oblivion 🤷‍♀️

Honestly I only see a few smirks. Likely laughing AT him not with him. And, if they are reacting to what the banner on the photo says about a pay raise that is logical for a positive response.

Stunning

Is his recent admission that he’s probably not going to heaven part of that proof?

Not sure, he really hates LA and Newsom so I think he’d be unhappy either way, and I love that for him.

Tell Miles we say hey. We liked him.

Husband during first quarter “I’m not feeling my same fan enthusiasm today as the playoffs.” By the fourth quarter— screaming at the TV— identical energy to June 🤣 Yes CERS!

They really showed up. Excited for the season!

And the Sound Of Music is a legendary movie. Our daughter’s inspo was The Princess Diaries, at least for hair and makeup 🤣

Thank you, our daughter kept everything in perspective. She’s our only child so we wanted to make her dreams come true but without a bottomless budget. She never asks for much, only wanted some sparkly decor and a brunch to visit with out of town family the day after.

Spending $550 for dresses didn’t kill our wedding budget, and was a goodwill gesture that this wedding would be different and not stress them financially.
October 24, 2025 at 1:38 PM
Some of us are not falling into the trap of keeping up with trends. Daughter’s wedding kept it simple and classy. We paid for five $110 dresses from Azazie (which included free alterations), gave them earrings as their bridesmaids gifts, hosted a bachelorette brunch in our home then dinner out.
