A true classic. I used to read this to my children. Initially, I did not like that Sam-I-am but after many years i did so like Green eggs and ham, and I would read it in a box and I would read it with a fox.

Quite a heavy read at times, but the man shaped the future and his ideas are still being realised today. How he was treated by his own country was shameful and beyond comprehension. #alanturing

Showing my age a bit with this, although I wasn’t born when either edition was first published. This was a birthday present and something I remember being really excited about as a child as it opened up a whole genre of books to me.
