plok and glip are both fine, but galli and radok are the safest because of the flared base

Yeah I also own the Bathys and use them for travel, they're great. I also own the closed-back Celestees... I might have a problem..

I owned the same pair and had similar issues (plus the adhesive on the headband repeatedly failing). I probably overcorrected when I bought a ~$1000 pair of Focal Clears, but they haven't let me down. Focal also has the slightly cheaper ~$500 Focal Hadenys now, which I haven't tried.
