Summer kinda burned me out, so this was a self-care autumn weekend. I’ll party another time: need a break from loud crowds for a while. Had some great workouts, did some gaming, bred two boys and - my big win - broke my DoorDash habit & made 2 meals tonight. It’s a small thing, but it’s a BIG thing.

Barriers to my Hot Pup Summer #387: blood sugar issues. Feels like something often gets in the way, especially around Pride, to dampen my fun. I’m not diabetic, but this has me worried. Lots of work ahead to protect my health and (maybe? or am I kidding myself?) keep growing. 😕

EDC was unexpectedly healing and wonderfully overwhelming. Thank you pups so much for this adventure. How wonderful to know that at 45 years old, I can still start over… and come home. ❤️

This morning when I got back to my hotel room, I sat on my bed, took a breath, and bawled for about 45 minutes. This weekend shattered chains of fear and shame that had bound me all my adult life. (And this big wolf hates being locked up!)
