tldr i love deckbuilders. i want to play them waiting for my weekly 30 minute allergy shot wait. and maybe i do want to sit on my couch and play it too...

i do understand though that this requires a whole new type of testing, where you have to test with Soooo many more devices, and also try to make your game last for future devices too, which comes with a cost for people, devices, store platforms...it's hard.

i think people underestimate how much its not just "i dont want to sit at my computer" its waiting room time, its commute time, its lunch break at work time.

balatro had the right idea. but dndgamblers could be a great mobile game. pooool could be. even simpler isometric games could be. a lot of wholesome direct games could be too imo. i often see a game i want to play and think "damn i wish i could play this on my phone!"

like if the only thing you control your puzzle game with is the mouse, chances are your game could very easily be ported to mobile, the big catcher there is usually either optimization (not oft a concern with the type of indies i am talking abt) or layout (making normally small text readable)
