The fleeting minutes of pleasure. three drawings of seungmin’s face in one canvas with “dominate hong kong” written on the top right. i chose three of my sketches from this past week to clean up and color. the top left drawing is him from the shoulders up, he is looking to the right, and there is a silly pochaco dog ear doodle over his left ear. below that is another bust drawing, this time his head is turned towards the left but his eyes are looking straight at the viewer. there is a silly kissy face doodle to the left of his head and a tiny heart doodle on his face where his mole is supposed to be. the third drawing takes up the right half of the canvas, below the text. it is a profile shot, waist up, he is facing the left and and he is throwing up a peace sign. the references for these drawings are fan-taken extreme close-up photos of when seungmin interacted or walked past fans in the barricade during their dominate tour concert in hong kong last week. he was stupid beautiful in these photos so you can understand how i simply had no choice but to TRY and render said beauty on canvas. result: not even close, but hey, the process helped distract from the horrors of living in the world so. success???

sketches of jeongin wearing bottega veneta at the ariport before leaving for milan fashion week last september. his hair was freshly cut and dyed jet black and it was artfully tousled and something about it plus the simple tank top and blazer with silver accessories ensemble plus his siren eyes plus his truly insane bone structure altered my brain chemistry. all of these very specific conditions combined together made me forget who seungmin was.
