gamera vs barugon (1966) is a huge step up from the first film in just about every department -
there's more explosions, bigger sets to destroy, better paced and barugon is such a delightfully weird little dude shooting his rainbows an shit.

started with gamera the giant monster (1965), which is pretty cool actually! despite the dark tone it had a wonderfully awful american dub which def shorthanded it but I could tell it was something more than just a Godzilla clone like
