Let's be clear. Kimmel's show's cancellation is not because of kirk. That is the narrative being used. Look at the actions of a person (here Kimmel) and not what someone is saying about them. Actions speak louder than words. Kimmel's (re)action was one of empathy:

I watched Birdemic 2 today and have so many questions. Yes, it was my decision and no, I don't hate myself. What happened to the birds, the zombie cave couple, and the jellyfish? What's with the birds exploding? What was that dance scene? How did the birds get inside?

For those who are solo during these trying times, know that you matter and count. You are a being with a mind, heart, and soul which are all wonderful things. You have many layers to you and are not defined by any one thing. Take care of yourself and be well.

In these times of hate and division, don't lose your ability to love and care about/for others. When things seem bleak, think of those you love and focus on them and love. If you have the chance, then get in touch with them. Remind each other that you have each other. Let love keep you centered.
