good!

i had assumed the columns would need some wacky hydraulic jack solution to move them

if both are fixable or livable then yeah they should go full steam ahead on psd!

man how has there not been a lawsuit over this shit
December 27, 2025 at 4:45 AM
aren’t the platform edges also hollow?
December 27, 2025 at 4:44 AM
how is mass timber any better? its still wood
December 26, 2025 at 11:10 PM
how much space are we talking?
December 26, 2025 at 3:52 AM
at some point you might adjust the models
December 26, 2025 at 2:54 AM
it can’t tow anything large more than 100ish miles before stopping to charge for 30+ minutes. the upcoming extended range EV (with a gas generator) probably should have launched first tbh

shipping a car overseas is expensive enough that domestic manufacturing has an advantage imo. something like half of us cars are still imported though iirc
December 25, 2025 at 4:31 AM
who else even wants diesel locomotives anymore tho?
December 25, 2025 at 4:29 AM
why?
December 24, 2025 at 10:10 PM
the us-based electric bus industry seems absurdly weak. some agencies should test out a few mercedes, byd, solaris etc ones, i bet riders would be thrilled
December 24, 2025 at 10:07 PM
as batteries improve, equally enormous EVs will start competing in that segment too. the 3-row ioniq 9 gets 300 miles of range and the new bmw suv gets 400, for about the same cost as a tahoe or suburban
December 24, 2025 at 10:00 PM
by electronics do you mean the silicon carbide ones?
December 24, 2025 at 5:49 PM
well my personal concern is it wearing down over years, unlike single use plastic, but now that water supply lines are often plastics anyways i just want the best water filter i can get
December 24, 2025 at 3:21 PM
ford’s platform seems different than that because it includes revamping the whole assembly line, i don’t recall gm talking about that
December 24, 2025 at 3:19 PM
shame about microplastics and whatnot because ethylene is a crazy material
December 24, 2025 at 6:17 AM
wow, do you have any more on the seattle and cambridge cases?
December 24, 2025 at 5:16 AM
ford has their big 'universal ev platform', does GM have anything like that?
December 24, 2025 at 3:11 AM
what if it was only 1 euro
December 24, 2025 at 1:58 AM
would that violate mt laurel?

or maybe the takings clause...
December 24, 2025 at 1:57 AM
no clue how you reverse that without something dramatic enough to be almost unimaginable like sectoral bargaining
December 23, 2025 at 9:14 PM
surprised this pencils out even with cheaper elevators. does it allow more parking spaces?
December 23, 2025 at 4:55 PM
is sf still trying to buy its grid from pg&e?
