Nope, Tim Armstrong and Billie Joe Armstrong aren’t related, bro:

Tim:Rancid and Operation Ivy.
Billie Joe:Green Day.
Even though they’re not fam, these two legends have teamed up:

Co-wrote "Radio": Back in ’93, Tim and Billie Joe wrote the track with Matt Freeman. Total banger.

Wanna dig into punk history? Start with the legends, CBGB, The 100 Club, and 924 Gilman. These spots didn’t just see it all, they *lived* it, dude.

Punk ain't got no rules, dude. It's all about keepin' it simple and havin' a blast. If someone tries to lay down what punk *should* be, they can go take a hike, ya know? Don't get me wrong, punk can totally slap, but it’s not some polished junk for the average overproduced Joe Consumer to vibe with.

On this day in 1980, The Clash unveiled their fourth studio album, *Sandinista!* An ambitious triple LP, it boldly explores a wide array of genres, blending punk with funk, reggae, rockabilly, dub, jazz, and more. To make the 3-LP set affordable, the band accepted reduced royalties.
