I shot the Clash in Newcastle, June 1980, 16 Tons Tour. THAT was an amazing show!! Working on sharing that tour cos just ah-mazing photos!!! The Clash were/are the best!! Oh, one of the pix I just posted is from Newcastle! Fans got onstage, sang w/Joe, and more. WILD!!! SO MUCH FUN!!! @theclash.com

You can see me SWOONING cos I LOVE Nausea. Altho I was blown away when Exene gave me first songbooks. I didn't know my fave song about hangovers. Which I've never had. My hair is curly black with magenta,not red, in back, pink metal fish earring + black camera straps (wearing 2 cameras, color/bw).❤️

Proof I was at Decline of Western Civilization filming for X, my all-time fave band. But the Clash were amazing to photograph!! And their first LP is still my fave go-to when I need a dose of great music. No idea how I took these, no flash, with WILD punks behind me. Calm in the eye of the storm
