Graham Beck from Exploring Stamps sent me a postcard from the 2025 Great American Stamp Show, featuring the classy new Boston 2026 Expo stamps under this amazing postmark! (And also Betty White. 🙌) Hard not to get excited with this kind of early promotion.

I discovered the daytime hideout of the local family of tawny frogmouth, the star of this stamp from Australia’s 2021 issue, ´Nature’s Mimics’. Being nocturnal, they adopt strange poses to disguise themselves as tree branches during the day. Unfortunately their snoring gave their position away. 🙄

This optimistic little piggy is all of us heading into 2024. Surely the year can only bring good fortune and wonder! The future is all his! He could be anything! What could possibly go wrong?
