Some people have different recipes, but a quick Google or Pinterest search will give you the jist. It's basically red wine, orange juice, a little brandy, sugar or honey and cinnamon/cloves and other spices. You just let it simmer a while until you are ready to serve and strain.

A couple years ago I made mulled wine. It's like a wintery version of sangria lol. I think you might enjoy it.
