Random Friday rant: Is there a secret shop that only sells giant desk-clamp mics? TV folks get tiny mics or boom mics. But podcasters & YouTubers? Nope—gotta have a face-blocking contraption an inch from their mouth. It’s not a convo where you coolly look upon each other, it’s a hostage negotiation.

Warren Buffet (“tariffs are a type of war”) is the only billionaire who is up $$ after last week. He’s been building cash thru 2024-he felt stocks were overvalued. No one knew what Trump was going to do w/tariffs; incl his pals. But they can all buy low & get more rich-while we pay for the tariffs.

Was watching the Lego Star Wars “Freemakers Adventures” on Fandango with my kiddo & this clip had me laughing thinking about ‘Trumpala The Hutt’ and his plans for Gaza. I needed a bit o’ levity in the continuous onslaught of shite from this new admin - I’m exhausted already but won’t give up!

Mass guy living in LA here. I have one sports rule for my young LA-born son while he lives under my roof - he may like and even be a fan of any LA sports team EXCEPT the Lakers! I’ve been quite content with the C’s being reigning Champs & the Lakers being whatevs - now they get 25yo f’ing Luka!!

I really needed a laugh today, so I put on Ted. It helped. The series was very funny. But more than ever, the world (ok, ME!) really needs Ted 3…like, yesterday! W/Lori back!
When Lori is trying to pick up the poop and John is cowering leaves me in happy years every time.
