I got this game as a kid cause I couldnt afford the wii version and I has a lot of fun with it, and it made me obsessed with chao for a short time. The story mode has such a fun dream like vibe. Thanks for posting stuff from it!

This is a rabbithole, I've spent hours comparing and configuring crt shaders. Now Im trying to create an emulation setup using a real crt. Maybe one day I'll actually play a video game, ive heard they're fun

It wont last, even if we get to this point, once people try it once or twice the novelty will quickly desolve when they notice how empty it really is compared to human made media. The exception might be comedy though, cause ai makes it easy to make rediculous setups rendered realistically.

Lately ive noticed what we're missing out on now with modern games. Now a game is just a download, but it used to be a cool website, a trip to the game store, a cover, back cover, manual, disc or cartridge, and even the drive home waiting to finally plug it in. Games were more than just the game.

Close your eyes and look up for a few seconds, then move your eyes back down and relax. Do repeat this 5 or so times and it should make you feel like sleeping

Theres a big mod project for this game that gives it the platinum treatment and adds a whole bunch of other improvements and options as well, luminescent platinum. Definitely worth checking out

How do you achieve the crt effect? Is it a shader or filter? Or a secret?? Im getting into making pixel art and I just love the look of that effect
