For some? Everything. It’s all “winning” because Trump does it they are in his cult. And also they’re racist. Some have told me that they literally believe Trump was sent by God to save America. For others, it’s just the dismantling of govt because they believe anything collectivist is socialism.

Yes, the US Reps get a lot of pushback from us normal constituents. Those in state legislatures often fly under the radar. Crazies like Dorthy Moon, Ronald Nate, Ryan Spoon. They don’t get the pushback, just a lot of props.

Many serve in lots of ways in their communities. They are also driven by fear. See the world as a pie with somebody else after their slice. Think they are just one lucky break and a little hard work away from the lifestyle Trump and Elon have. Embrace a warped Christian faith. 2/x

Unfortunately, it’s not always so easy to just stop caring about your family or the community you live in. My town is probably 90% republican. My husband’s family is almost entirely Republican. They are good neighbors, kind to people they meet, most are honest and ethical in their work. 1/x

They really do view it as a good vs. evil thing. Anything that “forces” someone to act a certain way outside of their values is evil. Of course, forcing people to live inside their own values is good…

I think a good way to see is to go and look at any state rep’s personal page from a small town in a red state. Try my state of Idaho. They celebrate anything Trump does, but esp. anything aimed at dismantling the federal govt or restoring “traditional values.” All under the guise of “liberty.”

I keep praying maybe this mess will get us another New Deal so we can finally heal the damage Reagan did.

We have to stop this narrative that people just didn’t know about P2025 and that there is zero support for it. I have family and friends, who—though I can’t understand how—are actively celebrating all of it. They knew what it was and looked forward to it. Tons of “normal” Americans loving this.
