I only got to hear Todd Snider in concert one time, when a friend who wanted me to hear him invited me to the show at the Great American in SF. It was such a memorable night, and not just because Ramblin Jack Elliott was on stage with him. Sad to hear that Todd Snider has passed on, far too young.

Lovely LitQuake crowd last night at the 4 Star Theatre in San Francisco. David Owen interviewed me about my new book John Candy: A Life In Comedy, then we watched Uncle Buck. I signed a ton of books and met a lot of really great people all of whom had a feeling of connection to John Candy.
