I often recommend lap steel to folks who struggle with finger/hand/wrist issues and it often works really well for them. Dunno if that appeals to you but it’s a ton of fun, just like guitar

Absolutely phenomenal show last night. And with that, our Album Attack of Radiohead’s OK Computer is wrapped. We closed the set with National Anthem complete with surprise brass section. I feel so light and fulfilled

Saw a celebrity today! Partial conversion of a ‘92ish TA, season 4 nose, no dash, bowling ball hubcaps on turbocast-adjacent rims, but still cool enough for me to immediately pull over and walk back for a pic. The dream.

Look at this happy guy, in his element, excited to play Radiohead’s OK Computer in its entirety this Friday at The Wayfarer in Costa Mesa! The band sounds great and everyone worked so hard to make performance #2 even better than the first 💜

Worked on an amazing ‘62 Bass VI this week. Perfect timing as I’ve been building one like it from a body and pickups I got from Curtis Novak. The early ones sound so different from the later ones with Jaguar style pickups.

Made a few changes to the Cuomocaster this week
Practice last night was wonderful. Playing loud music has always been where I feel the most me version of myself. The guitars are two of my favorite Jazzmaster-style instruments: the Seuf OH-10 in purple sparkle and Threepio, a four-pickup Shelton Electric GalaxyFlite in Tatooine Gold.

Reconfigured the pedalboard today. Took a lot of thought and a heart-to-heart with three pedals that got removed, but I think this version maximizes use of available space and keeps the most important stuff accessible

Heat treating a ‘66 Mustang neck in an attempt to encourage some backward bow from frets 1-6. So far, so good! We have some happening now which didn’t exist before with the truss rod fully tightened, but we need just a little more. Then, onto the refret
