My kid and I hit Portillo's maybe twice a month. I think most Texans might go there twice a year. They must get Texas kids hooked. This aint burgers or tacos or chicken. Portillos will probably grow to the size of the Hala Guys, who have the same problem.

As I said on the stream, Portillo's is a unique flavor. Kids in Chicago are are raised on beef and chi style dogs. As adults we crave it. The Sun Belt expansion was for Chi transplants. But once you get all of them, the locals simply find you exotic.
