As a creator I'm glad I could showcase the game in it's entirety for those who either don't want to or give up playing. We've been working hard to depict as much as possible in the videos. There's so much I love about the game, but I feel so burnt out on it come the other side. It's a mixed bag

Tonight is the first part of my Silksong videos. I've now completed the game and beaten every boss, and I've never felt so conflicted about a game. Silksong is so damn good in parts, and a complete waste of time and frustrating chore in others. I beat all of it, I never want to play it again

And this is coming from someone who's played every Souls game and (I'd like to think) is quite good at Silksong. It is artificially difficult, it feels tough and unfair. I miss the cozy vibe and exploration of the first game that could often be found. This is just intensely hard with little relief

I genuinely loved parts of this so much, and I love the first game. It's hard to discuss Silksong, as the fandom is very hostile to criticism. I've been harassed already for airing my frustrations. I'm glad I completed it, but it is the most stressed I've ever been playing a game
