Here is an illustrated recipe of the most delicious Cheese Onion Rolls 🧀🧅
I've been eating these for years and never get sick of them. Sometimes I cut them open to add a little (or a big) slice of brie to it, with a bit of honey.

The instructions are: Chop two large onions, sauté them gently and let cool. Knead the following ingredients for 10 minutes. 500 gram flour, 5 gram dry yeast, 1 beaten egg, 150 gram luke warm milk, 80 gram luke warm water, 30 gram granulated sugar, 40 gram softened butter, 10 gram salt. Add the cooled onions and knead for another 5 minutes. More of the illustrated recipe is pictured here. A rat is keeping itself warm in front of a radiator that has a covered bowl sitting on it. next to it there are rats busy at work, putting the risen dough on baking trays. The instructions say: Cover your dough and let it rise for an hour. Shape the rolls and place them on a baking sheet in a baking tray. Let them rise for another hour. The final steps of the illustrated recipe is pictured here. A bunch of rats are brushing the rolls with egg, throwing cheese on there and covering it with a final slice of cheese. Two rats are sitting around an oven, waiting for the rolls to be done. The instructions say: Carefully brush the rolls with some beaten egg and stick some grated cheese on top. (maybe an extra slice of cheese on top) Bake the rolls in a preheated oven. 180 degrees Celsius. 15 to 18 minutes. Take out the rolls when they are golden brown.
