I have two current WIP. One is a genre blanket, in a granny square style, for each book I read this year, so will be long term WIP.

And finally this is my first wearable that isn't hat/gloves. This is my first hexi cardigan (plus the yarn I'm using for it).

I am excited to see how this goes!

Following on from the Mushroom guy before (I affectionately call Mushie), I wasn't entirely happy with some of the mistakes I made, so when I made this little cutie to go with him, I adjusted and applied the correct way to do the bits.

I love her 😻 she doesn't currently have a name though x

This was my first pattern, instead of a video to follow along to. The viral (at least on the Reddit crochet group) Mushroom Guy pattern from critterstitchdesigns on Etsy.

I'd been wanting to learn to crochet to make one of these anyways, so timing was perfect.

Following that set, I got frustrated that I couldn't always find my hooks, so I created this case for them.

First up, is this 'dragon scale' fingerless gloves and hat set for my OH.

Now his hands are massive compared to the pattern I was following, so I followed the pattern, but adjusted so that 1. It'd fit him, and 2. So the gloves were all one part instead of two sewn together.

I did it! Created my first crochet critters.

I think I could probably get one of these done in a day now that I have all the parts needed, and some experience on making them x

I'm so proud of my progess so far. This is about 6 or 7 months after I first started (with lots of breaks in between because health). Slow and Steady, and all that. x

Was eating my dinner this evening, and spent the whole time with Chihiro watching me like this.

Not interested in the food though, she just wanted onto my lap once the plate has been removed 😹😹😹

Little one has gone through a couple of years without playing. I've tried everything. Up until about 3 weeks ago, when she suddenly started playing again with no warning. Managed to grab these with her batting at my hands around my laptop screen last night. x

31 today, and I just want to cry. Can't sleep, appointment with endo team in a few hours, But at least this cutiepatootie is giving me cuddles. x

Chihiro being in season means banana cat time! =^-^= one of the few things that can help keep her calm during this time. x

One good thing about being so ill is the cuddles from this cutie x
