Steele’s rough Spring continues into the season opener. His Fastball velo was down 0.7 MPH and the slider down 1.4 MPH from 2024. The fastball was only thrown in the zone 45% of the time (60.9% in 2024) and generated a 88% Z-Contact (82% in 2024). He allowed 5 H, 1 BB and 5 ER.
