Totally! Just wanted to clarify the default feed IS still centralized, and many users probably just use that instead of any custom ones. The optional nature of it means that we're definitely freer from The Algorithm here than on Twitter/FB/Threads though.

People are often surprised when I tell them this: both Twitter and Facebook/insta/threads are now specifically engineered to downgrade, hide, suppress real journalism. If this platform is different, that's a huge change
