You pull up to the "back" of your house in a cul-de-sac, and the "front" of your house is right on one of the shared parks/paths. And because the school is right there in the park, kids never cross streets! And a ~35 min commute to midtown. It'a the best.

I don't understand why Radburn, NJ isn't the universal template for suburbs everywhere. Mixed single/multi-family homes, central shopping with a train station, everyone lives on pretty parks.
