How was Clinton Baptiste? An excellent act but did it work as support for a music show? I know it’s happened in the past with comedians supporting bands but I’ve never seen it.

Sadly missed the chance to get hold of this. Now starting at £30 a copy on Discogs marketplace!

Is there anywhere to listen to previews of this new music? @warringtonruncorn.com

I appreciate it’s not exactly the same but watching Chipzel perform a gig playing music created on a Gameboy is a truly amazing thing to behold.

That is on my list to listen to. I really loved Anathema so have been keen to follow all the member’s solo projects.

Don’t worry, ignore me. Found it by logging in via a web browser rather than the mobile app. Thanks anyway

What do you/they plan on doing with the database once created?
For logging CDs (and other music formats) the best service is Discogs.com You can scan the barcodes and add items to your ‘Collection’ to then sort however you wish and even sell to other users. Can’t help with books or DVDs sadly.
Discogs - Music Database and MarketplaceDiscogs
Discover music on Discogs, the largest online music database. Buy and sell music with collectors in the Marketplace.

Where did you get your number? Did it just appear when you logged in? Interested to know mine…

Sounds worth a try as I still find it useful as a news aggregator. Still lots of companies over there.

Some social media managers (on the other sites) have been floating the idea of playing unskippable ads before allowing users to access their feeds, much like YouTube and Spotify free tiers do before playing the thing the user selected

I’ve been amazed by how few ads they play on their on demand services. Frequently it’s just the short ‘sponsored by…’ immediately before and after the ‘ad break’ of zero ads.

I haven’t had access to broadcast TV for nearly 10 years, just use on demand services like iPlayer etc, so I was absolutely amazed to discover recently that ITV 1 (their main channel) is a full on shopping channel now from midnight every night.
