It’s also /exactly/ the kind of thing that would come up if you were over-engineering a piece to be relatable to a certain audience and didn’t know how to.

I’m on the tail end of the millennial band and I learned the word from a woman ~5 years my senior who is the ideal audience for Le Creuset. I think it’s a piece of transient slang for kids that caught on for their moms instead.

To echo the above, we’ve had issues where the market for new homes is so lucrative here we’ve had to pay contractors for their time the way the people who build McMansions do, or it’s not worth it for them to come over. There’s just too much demand from people with more cash.

I apologize if you’ve already covered this elsewhere, but I’m curious what you think about going fully electric the Sonoran/Mojave desert areas. I’m thinking about getting another hybrid because but going full electric seems really dangerous with the heat. Carrying/sharing gas seems safer.

As a native to the area, the “it’s a dry heat” trope really does a lot of the work. You can always sweat the heat off or take shelter and rapidly cool down unless the winds are also kicking up. You just stay hydrated and wear thin, long clothing. I’ll take 100 here over 80 in New York.
