People use to say that gun owners were schizo posting when they said they were concerned with a tyrannical government. Then Jan. 6 happens and Trump gets re-elected and promises to attack freedom of speech and to suspend the constitution. It seems that the gun owners were right to be worried.

I hope with the new year and some reflection we can take a new route in 2025. I’d love to see the more radical elements we have on the left excised and to finally have a realization in the party that the attack on 2A has been a failure and we would get better results easing up, if not reversing acts

It took me twelve years (!) to build up my audience on Twitter. It took 5 days to surpass the 50% point of my Twitter following on Bluesky. I’m hopeful that the overall growth on this site will negate the need to go on Twitter altogether. Sad to see what it devolved into, but thrilled to see it die.
