There's a much more popular choice Hochul *could* make. Built 15 gigawatts of public renewables, instead of Trump's private pipelines.

But it will only happen if we make her.
Instead of helping Trump poison New Yorkers, Kathy Hochul could build 15 gigawatts of publicly owned renewable energy to lower our bills today, and protect our air, water, and planet tomorrow. But it’s up to us to make it happen.

But this year, Kathy Hochul reportedly made a closed door agreement with Donald Trump to bring the Williams Pipeline back, and fast track it for approval.

It could happen any day now.

Three simple reasons: the damage it woudl do to our world, our water, and our wallets.
Map of the proposed pipeline route through New York Did You Know? Methane has a global warming potential 28x more than carbon dioxide. Pipelines are notoriously leaky, and the Williams Pipeline is no exception. If built, leaked methane would contaminate our drinking water while adding more fossil fuel emissions. It would also make us pay for the privilege, raising National Grid customers’ bills by nearly $100/year to fund construction.

The Williams Pipeline was introduced in 2017. New Yorkers have fought it, and won. Why?
First proposed in 2017, the 37-mile Williams Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) Pipeline would carry fracked gas underwater through the New York Harbor. It may be the most hated energy project in New York history.
