Kind of you, but I am rather fond of Hughes, we have a number of his paintings and etchings in the collection at @wiltshiremuseum.bsky.social

They were both at Marlborough as you know, bit of a track record there. The former art master Christopher Hughes was hated by Blunt and his older brother, he also published a history of Marlborough that was heavily criticised by a former pupil when they were both town councillors.

Poles with dropwires and aerial cabling are not just the cheapest, quickest and financially efficient way of supplying broadband feeds where there is no availanle underground duct capacity - birds perch on dropwires to bring nature into urban lives. They should bring back pole finials though.
