A way to avoid metal poisoning isn't with sham detox regimens, but by not consuming fish & seafood. My opinion: Go Vegan because fucking shit (Fukushima) happens! Plus, we are killing our oceans, & fish have feelings. #GoVegan for the animals, the planet, & your health.

In recent reports, inspections and oversight of food imports are at an all-time low.

Suggestions: Source your dietary Omega-3s from Flaxseed, and iodine from organically sourced seaweed and iodized salt.

Itai-Itai causes SEVERE pain and deformity that people with itai-itai disease feel in the spine and joints.

A month ago, Cesium-137 was found in imported shrimp, and additional common metal poisonings from fish and seafood are caused by arsenic, mercury, cadmium, and lead. 2/4 🧵

Itai-Itai Disease: Literally means Ouch-Ouch, or It Hurts! It Hurts!

It is caused by Cadmium poisoning, and the disease and term were coined in Japan in 1912 when Japanese people were poisoned by mining waste dumped into waterways and then consumed the water and fish. 1/4 🧵

Question: How many Americans have just basic or low literacy?

Answer: 77 million.

43 million American adults have low literacy skills, meaning they struggle with basic reading and writing tasks. This is equivalent to about one in five adults, with many functioning at or below a 6th-grade level.

Measles is spreading in Michigan now, and the MMR vaccine is the best way to protect kids. It’s safe, it works, and it’s been studied for decades. Children need two doses starting at 12 to 15 months. MMR vaccines may be available from doctors’ offices, local health departments, or many pharmacies.

How does this make America healthier?

Today, thousands of health workers at the CDC and FDA lost their jobs—effective immediately. Some found out when they tried to badge in, only to be denied entry.

Health divisions are gone, and programs are gutted.
