Need to workshop it a bit but I made a notebook/sketchbook out of a cassette tape

The finished temperature quilt top!! The top gray hexies say "Rochester" and the bottom gray hexies say "2003". There is one dark green hexie that says "My B-Day".

Beginning of January recap:

• been at my current job for 3 months
• living in my own apartment for 3 months
• most likely getting put on anxiety meds
• multiple medical issues
• just finished my temp quilt top

Beginning of summer recap:

• got back to Rochester
• still unemployed
• unpacking my car
• repacking my car

End of semester recap:

•finished my classes
•slipped a disc
•had the opening reception to my BFA show
•have started packing

Every Wednesday I get hit with emotions and get drained real fast. It was triggered earlier than normal due to some sad news. And it's raining. But it's warmer than it's been. So I put my stuff down and walked a lap around campus. No music, just trying to listen to the rain.

To keep as keychains or make into wall hangings/ornaments??

I got into a fiber arts show that opens next week!!!

Now I want to travel and take pictures. I want to turn those pictures into books. I made one on my study abroad trip to Australia and I love it. I want to make more

Do I make the decision to finish my bfa then get a job at a library? Do I make the switch? I kind of don't want to teach

So depending on how this goes I may or may not be getting a master's degree

I think I'm biting the bullet soon and deleting Instagram. Both personal and art accounts

quilting, where you take beautiful fabrics and cut them up, then sew them back together, and take great pains to keep everything flat, only to roll & bunch & squash it every which way when you get to the actual quilting.. it's a series of destruction/construction loops

I did a pop up market at my school and sold some pieces. It was a very interesting experience because of how "crafty" my stuff is compared to everyone else there. Maybe that's my self doubt talking but I plan on doing it again this semester
