Alright folks, we've got another quote from the Silent Hill streams to go on the whiteboard for "Joe's greatest hits".

This is a little game I like to play called, "Ammo or Sponges? 🤔"

This quote from one of Joe's recent streams has been bouncing around the walls of my mind palace for the last few days. So of course, it has to go onto the Nancy Drew Whiteboard designated for "Joe's greatest hits".

I just got abdominal surgery and I also have POTS, but the surgery was the tipping point to invest in a basic shower chair. Highly recommend. Was about $45 on amazon. I should've invested in one long ago tbh. Makes showering less of a hazard and a chore.

I had the privilege recently of seeing the finale of Attack on Titan in theaters twice this past week! The second showing was later at night and pretty empty so I got quite a lot of footage 🤭 Yeah it knocked my socks off basically. A lot of visual improvements too.

Just celebrated my birthday a couple days ago, and I'm in love with this picture frame I received based on the UI of Old Nancy Drew games. It has a whiteboard section for writing inside jokes 😈 and an area to display pins reminiscent of the old inventory system. 10/10

This is an extra Untitled painting I made to practice the pigments with, and gave it to my dad as a gift. A simple starry sky that looks especially best in the dark. These glow pigments, I charge with a blacklight and they glow quite strongly for a while. #art #oilpainting

Right by the front door is a wooden bench by the wall of the cabin, and a wooden picnic table with some cups and a pitcher on top. There's a stone wall on the right side of the grassy hill the cabin sits on, nearly surrounding that side. There's rocks and wildflowers scattered around. At the lower edge of the picture, a Crimson shade creeps into the color of the grass and flowers. A bird flies overhead the cabin. Two large shadows seen on the hill appear to be holding hands.

Finally remembered to post some of my artworks to this platform. These are earlier works, the Mural of Mt. Fuji was my 1st mural and I followed a guide for the landscape. Same for the framed painting, it was a practice painting my grandma wanted lol #art #landscapepainting #oilpaint

The wall has one rectangular window on the right and a door on the left side, with beige striped window curtains. ● The mural on the wall features a backdrop of a clear blue sky and some fluffy white clouds, with a clear view of Mt. Fuji in the near distance. There's a forest of Deep Green Coniferous Trees at the base of the Mountain, approaching and surrounding the viewer. There's one skinny brown tree with no leaves and plenty of twigs on the right side of the mural, in front of the other trees in the painting. ● The perspective of the viewer is: Within a valley of Sakura Trees at the base of Mt. Fuji, enclosed within the forest of Green trees. The cherry blossom trees have a range of colors, from Hot Pink to magenta to Baby Pink. The trees on the left side of the painting, closer to the viewer, begin to grow darker and more purple in color whereas the trees on the right are softer shades of pink and less intense. ● The ground is a Rich Green color, except in the area of the valley of Sakura Trees, which looks to be bathed in sunlight; The valley has a nearly circular area of yellow ground that trails off into dark green grass as the cherry trees on the left side become darker in color. The lighter cherry trees on the right in the center of the valley, have an Earthy, warm toned Brown underfooting of dirt. ● On the left side of the painting above the door, another Sakura tree descends directly in front of, and closest to, the viewer. The branches reach nearly halfway across the mural on the top half, and the blossoms are a mix of white and light pink. The branches are nearly black in color and barely visible among the sheets of blossoms draped upon them. In progress photo of the Mt. Fuji mural. Mt Fuji has been painted with a Deep Blue base and a peak capped in snow that trails down the mountain and gradually fades. The sky in the background is a light Baby blue with no clouds yet. In the foreground, the shape of the forest of Coniferous Trees at the base of the mountain is nearly complete. The bright yellow ground of the valley has been painted, but the dirt has not been filled in yet, nor have any of the cherry blossom trees that the dirt surrounds. ● Part of the left side of the mural is blocked by a green ladder and a black mini fridge with painting supplies on top. Towards the center of the picture there is a white, tall table with some cigarettes, paint cans, pretzels, and gloves scattered on top. There is a black and brown stool close to the perspective of the viewer. The mountain in view has two main, large peaks. At the base of the mountain there are warm toned grasses surrounding the wetlands and trees in the foreground. There are bunches of dark Green, nearly Black Coniferous Trees surrounding both sides of the body of water, and reflecting into the clear blue water at the front of the painting. An oil painting in a white frame on a kitchen table in a blue dining room. The painting has a baby blue sky with no clouds that fades into a light purple/pink color as if it is sunset. The hills in the distance are a deep purple color and gently sloping. Before them is a body of water, of Deep Blue water and rippling white waves. In the foreground on the shoreline, there is rich green grass peppered with deep pink flowers throughout. There's a trail of dark brown dirt heading to the shore over the hill, and there is weathered bits of wooden fence outlining the trail. ● There are 2 cherry blossom trees in the foreground of the painting on each side of the dirt trail, with the one on left closest to the viewer and rising to the top edge of the canvas. They have a cool brown bark and branches, with a variety of pinks and reds coloring their blossoms. There are white highlights with an overall bubblegum pink color to their flowers, with darker pinks and reds in the shadowed sections.

@halfmoonjoe.com just a heads up there is a current softlock bug in the Silent Hill 2 Remake with update 1.04, in the Labyrinth section. You might be safe because you're still at the hospital? I expect a fix will probably roll out pretty soon because there's already a number of reports on this.

The recent 1.04 update has softlocked a puzzle in the Labyrinth section of the game. (After completing the Rotten Room, the Rotating Cube puzzle WILL NOT update to allow you to access the Desolate Area portion of the puzzle!) The only fix to this that my partner and I have found is to simply not allow the game to update. If you haven't turned your PS5/PC on yet to play Silent Hill 2, make sure you disconnect them from internet/ ethernet, or turn off your internet entirely if you feel that you wouldn't be quick enough to disconnect them. We, as PS5 players that have each other's accounts on our systems, managed to work around this as one of our consoles hadn't downloaded the update for SH2 yet. We transferred our main save to the PS5 that hadn't downloaded the update yet, and when booting the save up, the puzzle progressed normally. We're keeping that PS5 disconnected just in case it happens with the third area of the puzzle. Comment by u/dolphin_spit: shit. I just got to the Labyrinth and my games usually update automatically. Comment by u/jayreela: Same thing is happening to me. I had no problem with this a few days ago on my first playthrough, but now on NG+ I can't progress. In the meantime I've reported it as a bug too. I've tried reinstalling the game, with the update (no luck) and without the update I can't finish installing I get an error. Why can't we just go back to the old versions? I thought that was a thing that people do? I guess not.
