How is the stock market soaring if china is in deflation?
January 2, 2026 at 10:04 AM
Is one required to work at the BIS??
January 1, 2026 at 12:43 AM
This assumes capitalism will remain the dominant system and the democracy will die, rather then the other way around.
December 30, 2025 at 2:27 PM
They need to restart their nuclear program.
December 29, 2025 at 10:25 AM
How is this possibile? Indonesia has a gdp per capita of $4,7
December 29, 2025 at 10:21 AM
deliveries are starting in 2026 so certainly not as battle proven as the patriot. But the fact denmark decided to go with it rather than the US alternative tells you something about its capabilities (on top of not creating dependencies with the US in case Europe has to defend Greenland).
December 23, 2025 at 5:45 PM
They haven’t even placed the order for the 600 skyranger units yet… they might start deliveries in 2027-2028, that’s so far away and after 4y of war in ukraine you’d expect them to be a bit faster
December 23, 2025 at 4:24 PM
No it is not. This is the new version of the samp t system. It offers better specs than the patriot
December 23, 2025 at 3:58 PM
No that’s just the US, the EU has remained very much consistent with its values and its friendships
December 23, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Growth is being absorbed by billionaires, that’s the actual problem. Not that there isn’t enough growth to go around. Also a more unequal society inevitably also has lower growth since all the wealthy is unproductively accumulated by the few instead of flowing throughout every level of society.

It is germany losing in this case though because they will be the largest contributors to the loan. Had they used the tiny dictator own money to pay for Ukraine financial needs it would have been so much better.
December 20, 2025 at 1:56 PM
De wever is a right-wing coward. His gloating at the end of the article is gonna bite him in the ass at some point in the future
December 19, 2025 at 7:09 PM
You certainly do not waste any chance to
criticize the EU
December 19, 2025 at 5:50 PM
The only deal they accept is the one where russia leaves ukraine, pays reparations and its government is put under trial for war crimes. Anything short of that would be catastrophic
December 19, 2025 at 2:13 PM
If they were gonna use them they would have done so yesterday. Also what they agreed to is a loan that ukraine will have to repay (vs the russian assets backed loan which would have been in practice never repaid)
December 19, 2025 at 1:49 PM
You are putting lipstick on a pig. This furthers the EU financial strain instead of actually punishing the aggressor and giving Ukraine enough money to fully defeat them. It’s pathetic and cowardly
December 19, 2025 at 9:25 AM
The EU is a failed project. After scrapping the ice ban, the omnibus deregulation bonanza & now this massive failure not to make putin pay for his atrocities… ain’t left with much optimism about where the EU is headed. It will be dismembered by its inability to act in front of autocracy
December 19, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Yeah the EU is a failed project. What a shitty week. We are the last bastion against autocracy and instead the only thing that was passed this week was more deregulation to please corporations…
December 19, 2025 at 2:24 AM
Pathetic
December 19, 2025 at 1:22 AM
Wasn’t it supposed to be the full amount of €210b?
December 18, 2025 at 9:39 PM
They just did it for the 2035 ban and the due diligence directive so no surprises there… they are literally sacrificing the EU’s future just to please the orange dictator and corporations.
December 16, 2025 at 10:14 PM
They cost x5 normal fuels, will never work
December 16, 2025 at 4:31 PM
EV will dominate one way or another. They can fight it all they want but it will not change the end result. The actual consequence is that the EU will not be competitive in the EV industry
December 16, 2025 at 4:30 PM
Might it actually be reversed in the ecj? Or is it unlikely?
December 16, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Wouldn’t removing the ban require a unanimous vote in the council?
